Dear employee,

It will not have escaped your notice: Fleetaccess B.V. also has to deal with declining activities and orders. At the moment, approximately the order intake has decreased by 30-40%. This has various causes, including a temporary closure of RDW.
The RDW is now open again, but has a backlog which means that we are now lagging behind. Just like other companies, we are now feeling the negative consequences of the crisis in which the whole of the Netherlands finds itself. Fortunately, Fleetaccess is still able to provide itself with some work, unlike other industries.

In addition to the negative consequences for everyone in the financial field, we also have a concern to keep everyone healthy. Here, too, we face the necessary challenges together.

The government has now set up a number of schemes for entrepreneurs and businesses to enable employers and employees to stay financially afloat during this period. One of these schemes is the Temporary Emergency Bridging for Work, the NOW. Employers who are faced with an expected loss of turnover of at least twenty percent may apply to the UWV - in relation to the actual loss of turnover - for a period of three months for an allowance in the wage costs amounting to a maximum of ninety percent of the wage bill.

In view of current developments and forecasts for the coming months, Fleetaccess will also make use of this scheme, the NOW. Fleetaccess will not make full use of this scheme, because the turnover is not 0%. The extent to which this will be reasonable for the next 3 months will be examined in proportion.

What does this mean to you? We'll explain it point by point below.

  • With this application Fleetaccess commits itself in advance to the obligation not to apply for dismissal on the grounds of business economics for our employees during the period for which the compensation is received;
  • The salary will be paid in full even if you have a flexible employment contract;
  • Your work will be determined in consultation with you. In consultation and as far as possible we will also look at what work can be done at home;
  • No use is made of accrued WW rights;
  • You are available at all times to carry out work, within the employment contract we have together;
  • If you go to work on location, the necessary protective measures, communicated by the government and RIVM, must be taken. Fleetaccess will always facilitate this;
  • If you are not called up for work, we expect you to comply with the regulations and recommendations of the government and the RIVM;
  • You may receive a personal message about this arrangement from the UWV. If so, we will come back to you in due course.

Unfortunately, no one can tell us how long this annoying situation is going to last. If you have any further questions in response to this announcement, please feel free to ask your manager or management.

Let's work together in solidarity, goodwill and common sense to tackle this crisis.

Help each other and stay healthy!

Fleetaccess B.V.
